When the students of the Atlanta Academy took on the “Show Love With Your Soles” shoe drive campaign…they took it seriously!Within a 2 week period, the school surpassed expectations by collecting over 400 pairs of shoes for children in Haiti and the Dominican Republic.
Not only will the shoes afford children in the region an opportunity to attend school with proper footwear…they will also help prevent contraction of disease through barefeet.

Special thanks to Mrs. Ashley Stinger’s kindergarten class for taking on the shoe drive as an additional community service project for the 2008-2009 school year.
